Xiuli (Annie) Zhao is the founder of Koi Law Firm and holds dual lawyer licenses to practice in British Columbia, Canada, and China. She received her LL.M. from China Foreign Affairs University and LL.M. Common Law from Allard Law School at the University of British Columbia.
Annie Zhao
specializes in corporate, commercial, and securities law, and has extensive experience assisting clients with incorporation, business sales and purchases, commercial leases, employment and HR matters, and drafting corporate documents and contracts. She has been practicing law since 2006 and previously worked as a corporate lawyer in China, focused on corporate mergers and acquisitions and general commercial matters. She also acted as an in-house legal counsel at an international banking group for nearly a decade, specializing in banking and finance law. Annie continued her corporate and business law practice in Canada and worked at a public mining company in Vancouver for two years.
